Amirim is the first Moshav in Israel to work with rural tourism!
In the village you will find vegetarian restaurants, the village shop (tzarchania), a synagogue, swimming pool (in season), observation points, nature trails, a sculpture garden, galleries, jeep tours, spas and more.
We are situated close to the center of the village, yet in a quiet spot, open to views of the green hills. At a distance of around a 3 minute walk, you will reach the “Sea of Galilee Observation Point” (Mitzpe Kinneret), an incredible viewpoint facing The Sea of Galilee and Golan hills. Early Friday evenings in the months of July, August and on Jewish holidays, the place hosts music concerts open to the public, welcoming in the Sabbath while watching the sun set over the Kinneret and the incredible views. At the viewpoint there is a telescope and map.
In one direction, around a 5 minute walk away, you will find the village shop, the sculpture garden and the playground, and in the opposite direction is the swimming pool. (The pool is open during the warm season and the entrance is free for our guests). Close by is an enchanting walking trail named “The Hidden Forest” (Haya’ar HaNistar).
In the more distant vicinity, outside of the Moshav, you will find a variety of restaurants, attractions and different walking trips. For example, Nachal Amud, the Amud Stream, is around a 5 minute drive away and the Kinneret and the Mediterranean Sea are both around a half an hour drive from Amirim.
